Clinical Hair Growth Laser

There is no “one-size-fits-all” solution for hair loss.

This is one treatment within the GetHairMD program. This program aims to formulate a personalized treatment plan customized to each individual’s unique hair loss needs and concerns. The medical community has proven that to get the best results you must take a multimodality approach. Our goal is to provide you with a series of hair loss solutions that will create the healthiest environment for your scalp to stop further loss, improve the health of your hair, and to regrow hair in areas where loss has already occurred.

Thinning and diminishing hair affects men and women all over the world. While it’s normal for a woman or man to lose up to 100 hairs per day, these lost hairs are usually replaced with new hair. However, this is not always the case. Conditions like stress, environment, and medical treatments, not to mention Androgenetic Alopecia, commonly called Male and Female Pattern Hair Loss, can cause your hair to fall out at a faster rate than usual and not grow back. For this reason, treatments like the clinical hair growth laser were created to revive the follicle in a non-invasive way to help you achieve the healthy head of hair that you desire. At Sanctuary Medical Aesthetic Center, we offer clinical hair growth laser therapy to help men and women who are struggling with hair loss and bald spots.

Candidates

Candidates for clinical hair growth laser therapy are men and women who are going through early hair loss stages. It is important to note that there needs to be a certain amount of hair on your head, or at least the follicles, to be revived. If you are interested in the revolutionary hair growth laser procedure, we recommend that you schedule a consultation with one of our doctors to see if you are a candidate.

Men and women who have considered hair transplant surgery but are still reluctant to go through with it may also be good candidates for clinical hair growth laser therapy. Moreover, people who have suffered medication-induced hair loss (i.e., chemo or other meds) may also benefit from clinical laser therapy. Last, but not least, if you are fearful of injectable treatments, such as PRP, and do not want to use needles on your scalp, then the clinical hair growth laser may be the option you are looking for.

How Hair Growth Laser Works

Clinical hair growth laser therapy uses low-level laser therapy (LLLT) to stimulate the tissue in your scalp to encourage hair growth. Through this technology, photons are sent into the scalp and are absorbed by weak cells. As this happens, the cells become healthier and stronger, which results in stunning new hair growth.

The clinical laser used in this treatment is referred to as a “cold laser,” which means that you will not feel any discomfort as the laser energy is used on your scalp. The treatment usually lasts around 20 to 30 minutes, depending on the level of hair loss.

This treatment has been proven to be an effective method for encouraging hair growth and preventing more hair from falling out or breaking. Additionally, clinical hair growth laser therapy is a safer alternative to hair transplants, as this procedure does not involve needles or pricking the scalp. The clinical laser merely invigorates the blood circulation in your scalp to encourage the hair to grow.

One of the reasons that this treatment is so successful in helping men and women regrow and strengthen their hair is that the laser energy stimulates the follicles’ natural hair growth cycle of growth, rest, and shedding. This way, new hair is continuously being produced naturally, which means that there could be no need for a hair transplant.

Before & After

Recovery

Besides the noticeable results offered, one of the best aspects of this procedure is that there is absolutely no recovery or downtime needed after your laser treatment. Since it is a non-invasive procedure, you will be able to return to your daily activities without any delay. This is one of the reasons why people opt for this as their “lunchtime treatment” before they get back to work.

Moreover, there are no known side effects to this safe and effective treatment. The clinical hair growth laser uses cool lasers, so you will not feel any heat or burning during or after your treatment.

Results

The clinical hair growth laser results depend on the stage of the treatment you are in. During the first one to two months (stage one), you will notice a decrease in your hair fallout. This is because the laser treatment stabilizes your hair, reducing thinning or shedding.

During the next two months (stage two), you will notice your hair getting fuller, thicker, healthier, and shinier. This happens because your follicles are beginning to heal. Not only will your existing hair become healthier, but you will also see small hairs beginning to sprout in the follicles.

During months four to seven (stage three), you will notice that those mini hairs are beginning to grow into thicker hairs that cover your scalp. These hairs will continue to grow like normal hair, and you will be able to enjoy the full results of your clinical hair growth laser therapy session.

To get the best results, you should follow the post-treatment instructions given to you by Sanctuary Medical Aesthetic Center. In the first three months, you may want to undergo the treatment twice a week. During the next three months, you should switch to having the treatment performed once a week. To ensure your results, maintenance treatments should be scheduled once or twice a month for the next six months. These maintenance sessions are mostly to secure the results. The treatment concludes after those six months are finished.
