Located in Boca Raton and serving the residents of West Palm Beach and all of South Florida, Sanctuary Medical Center offers Latisse® and other medical skincare products to those who desire cosmetic dermatology.
What is latisse®?
Latisse® is the first prescription product approved by the FDA for darkening and lengthening thin, sparse, or short eyelashes. If you’re tired of wasting money and time on store-bought products and other treatments that only leave you disappointed, Latisse® may be just what you need. Whereas fake lashes and over-the-counter lash enhancers are tedious and only give you vague or unnatural-looking results, Latisse® actually works to provide full, lush and beautiful lashes after four weeks. Complete results will be seen after about 12 weeks. With Latisse®, you will never have to deal with inferior products again.
Benefits of latisse®
Latisse® comes with many benefits:
- Use it at home.
- Enjoy longer, fuller eyelashes.
- Have results in just a few weeks.
- Get the lashes of your dreams with just one simple daily application.
What is the procedure for applying latisse®?
First, you will need to have a consultation appointment with one of our doctors. Once you’ve been evaluated, you will be provided with information regarding the benefits and potential side effects of using Latisse®. If your doctor decides that you are a good candidate for Latisse®, you will be given a prescription for the product, as well as specific instructions on how to use it.
Latisse® is fast and simple to apply. For maximum convenience, most patients prefer to apply Latisse® before going to bed, since this allows them to make it a part of their nightly face care regimen. Here’s how Latisse® is applied:
- Thoroughly cleanse your face and pat it dry with a soft, clean cloth.
- Add only one drop of Latisse® to the included applicator brush.
- Hold the applicator like a mascara brush and apply the product to your upper lash line in a similar way to how you’d apply mascara.
- Remove any excess product with a soft cloth or cotton ball.
Although you can apply it at home by yourself, you should always remember that Latisse® is a prescription product. For this reason, it should only be applied according to the instructions. Do not use Latisse® on the lower eyelashes and do not get it in your eyes. The product’s effectiveness depends on consistent use and adherence to the instructions. If you have questions or concerns, please contact our office.
Please note that while Latisse® will give you thicker, fuller and longer lashes, the results aren’t permanent. If you stop using the product, your lashes will gradually return to their normal, pre-treatment state.
When will results from the application of latisse® be noticed?
Most people notice significant benefits in just a couple of weeks after beginning treatment with Latisse®. Your lashes will gradually become darker and fuller until the complete results occur, which is after approximately four months. Afterward, continuing to use Latisse® on a daily basis will ensure that you keep enjoying the results.
