Broke Up? We’ll Get That Name Off Your Body

Did you get an ex’s name tattooed on your body? Don’t worry; we’ve all made choices that we regretted or changed later. If you’re now ready to get rid of that tattoo, we can help.

Name tattoos are generally the easiest to remove since the ink is usually very dark and concentrated in a small area. However, it’s important to note that every tattoo is unique; therefore, the removal process will vary from person to person.

If you’re ready to get rid of the imprint of your ex on your body, our team at Sanctuary Medical is here to help you move on.

Modern Laser Tattoo Removal

Laser therapy is a new and innovative way to remove unwanted tattoos. We use a Q-switched laser to deliver rapid light pulses to the targeted area. The ink absorbs the light and breaks down the pigment. After that, the body’s natural healing process begins, and the white blood cells remove the discarded pigment from the body.

Tattoo Removal is Safe

The Q-switched laser we use at Sanctuary Medical is FDA-cleared for tattoo removal. It is also the gold standard for tattoo removal, the most effective and safest method available.

During your consultation with us, we will go over the Tattoo Removal process in detail so that you know what to expect. We will also answer any questions that you may have.

Tattoo Removal is Effective

Laser tattoo removal is a highly effective way to get rid of unwanted ink. In most cases, multiple treatments are necessary to achieve desired results. However, our team at Sanctuary Medical has the experience and expertise to help you get rid of your tattoo as quickly and effectively as possible.

FAQs

Here are some common questions we get about tattoo removal.

How long does the process of removing tattoos take?

The treatment process takes about eight weeks overall. The first step is the short laser treatment on the tattoo itself, and the second step is to allow the target area sufficient time to heal–the process usually takes about eight weeks.

Depending on the age of the tattoo, the colors, and the depth of the ink, it may involve several sessions. With today’s detailed artwork, many tattoos require eight to ten sessions to be entirely removed.

It is important to note that “removal” usually does not mean that the tattoos disappear but are, instead, greatly diminished.

What is the recovery process following laser tattoo removal?

Following treatment, we apply a petroleum ointment that must be continually applied at home so that the treated area remains moist.

Do not scrub or use harsh soaps when bathing, and avoid hot tubs and swimming until the area has completely healed.

Be sure to wear a broad-spectrum sunscreen with a minimum of SPF 30 and a physical block against sunburn on already-sensitive skin.

What do I do to start treatment for tattoo removal?

Please call either of our offices to schedule your initial consultation. We will evaluate your tattoo and recommend the best course of action.

How much does laser treatment for tattoo removal cost in Boca Raton & Fort Lauderdale and West Palm Beach, FL?

The cost for tattoo removal is as varied as each tattoo and depends significantly on the amount of detail in the tattoo. We will examine and evaluate your tattoo during your consultation to determine the best treatment. At that time, we can discuss the cost as well as available financing options.
