Restylane Lyft

Restylane® Lyft is an FDA-approved dermal filler and one of the latest on the market for increasing facial cheek volume. Located in Boca Raton and serving patients in West Palm Beach and all of South Florida, Sanctuary Medical Center is one of the first practices in the United States to offer Restylane® Lyft to patients. Dr. Jason Pozner uses this treatment to dramatically improve how your mid-face looks by increasing the amount of volume in your cheeks to contour and balance your facial features.

What is Restylane® Lyft?

Restylane® Lyft is one of the newest products from Galderma, the company that made the original Restylane®. Previously called Perlane®, it’s a gel-like substance. Treatment involves injection into the cheeks to deliver lift and volume to the target area.

How Restylane® Lyft works

At Sanctuary Medical Center, we use a two-step treatment process that provides both long-lasting and immediate results. When injected, the Restylane® Lyft gel increases volume below the skin to deliver immediate contouring improvements to your face. The treatment can also reduce wrinkles and enhance the texture of your skin in the target area–the result of the increase in volume giving your skin more support and smoothing out creases.

The long-lasting effects of Restylane® Lyft are possible because the filler is formulated with hyaluronic acid (HA). HA is a naturally occurring chemical in your skin that is well-known for attracting moisture. When the gel-like substance is injected into your cheeks, its molecules continue to attract moisture to the area, helping maintain volume in your cheeks.

What Restylane® Lyft treats

Restylane® Lyft is the only dermal filler approved that’s used to treat lost volume in the cheeks and nasolabial folds.

Lost volume in the cheeks commonly happens as people age because the fatty tissues under their skin become depleted, and their skin loses its elasticity. With less support under the skin and less elasticity, the cheeks begin to sag and take on a hollow appearance. Restylane® Lyft replaces the much-needed support and lost volume to provide a more youthful appearance.

Nasolabial folds are the lines that extend from the sides of your nose to the sides of your mouth, and Restylane® Lyft can be used to reduce their appearance. The folds occur from the tens of thousands of facial expressions that you make over your life which eventually lead to creases in your skin because of weak fiber structures. The support that Restylane® Lyft delivers under your skin is what allows it to decrease the outer appearance of nasolabial folds.

In addition to using Restylane® Lyft as a treatment for these issues, Dr. Pozner also has training in effectively using it on other facial features to increase volume and reduce wrinkles. The temples and chin are just two areas where he can use the filler to improve your appearance. Furthermore, the formula can be combined and layered with other fillers such as Restylane®, Restylane® Silk, and Sculptra®.

How long does Restylane® Lyft last?

The length of time that Restylane® Lyft lasts varies among patients. The seriousness of the skin problem and your unique biology are two factors that affect its longevity. However, patients of Sanctuary Medical Center can expect their results to last from 12 to 18 months.

What to expect during Restylane® Lyft treatment

During your consultation with Dr. Pozner, he will assess your facial structure so that he can make an accurate estimate as to how much Restylane® Lyft formula will be necessary to treat the target area. As one of the first practices to offer this filler, Sanctuary Medical Center has highly trained staff that can determine the proper amount of the substance to inject. This is essential with dermal fillers such as Restylane® Lyft because the goal of the treatment is to deliver a natural appearance in which the cheeks are balanced with the jaw and temples.

What makes Restylane® Lyft different from Restylane?

The difference between the formulas in Restylane® Lyft and Restylane® is the average size of the particles. The depth of the injection is also different. This means that Restylane® Lyft is an ideal option if you have more severe facial wrinkles and can benefit from a deeper injection. After only one treatment, 63, 71 and 75 percent of the patients in three clinical studies experienced improvement for six months.

What is the cost of injections using Restylane® Lyft in Boca Raton and West Palm Beach, FL?

The cost of Restylane® Lyft depends on how much treatment you will need to achieve optimal results. At Sanctuary Medical Center, we provide financing options and accept cash, personal checks, and major credit cards.
