What are Warts?
Warts are the result of a virus that is spread through touching. They appear on the skin as rough growths with a pattern of black dots that are simply clotting blood vessels.
There are three forms of warts – common, genital, and plantar. Common warts often disappear on their own but can be removed by a dermatologist if you are uncomfortable with their appearance or want to prevent them from spreading.
What Causes the Warts?

Common warts are, generally harmless and are more unattractive than anything else while genital warts can lead medical conditions including cervical cancer. Those with compromised immune systems may be at a higher risk for warts.
What Do Warts Look Like?
Usually present on the hands and fingers, common warts appear as rough bumps that are flesh, pink or darker in color. You may get one wart or several in very close proximity.

Even though common warts usually do not require any treatment as they go away by themselves, we can remove them for you if you do not like how they look or because they can spread.
